HIV Outcomes organised an event on World AIDS Day 2021 on the need to focus now on Health-Related Quality of Life

To mark the 40th anniversary since AIDS was first reported and to commemorate the 25th anniversary of UNAIDS, this year our event explored the policy actions needed for HRQoL to become a new focus to measure and improve the well-being of those living with HIV. It is time for a paradigm shift beyond viral suppression to ensure that they, too, can enjoy full HRQoL.
