Annual Review 2024

Welcome to our 2024 Annual Review! This report celebrates the progress we’ve made, the dedication of our members and partners, and the collective impact of our efforts over the past year—while setting the stage for the work ahead in 2025 and beyond.

2024 was marked by the European elections that brought new opportunities to bring HIV on the EU political agenda. Throughout the year, we worked alongside our members across Europe to ensure that HIV remains a clear priority for the new European Commission and Parliament.

Key milestones from the year include:

  • Participation in major international conferences, including HIV Glasgow and AIDS 2024.
  • Members of the European Parliament calling for a dedicated EU Action Plan on HIV/AIDS.
  • Renewed commitments from a number of Member States to end the HIV epidemic by 2030.
  • …and many more milestones along the way!

With plenty in store for 2025, we remain focused on improving the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) for every person living with HIV in Europe. Dive into our full report to see what’s next and how we’re driving change.

“HIV Outcomes calls on European and global institutions to commit to ending the HIV epidemic by ensuring equitable access to HIV services and dignity, well-being and good HRQoL to all people living with HIV.”

Mario Cascio, HIV Outcomes Co-Chair
